How You Can Help UPS Teamsters

We stand with UPS Teamsters. How you can help.

97% of UPS Teamsters voted to authorize a strike on August 1 if UPS does not agree to a strong new contract by July 31. Teamsters represent more than 340,000 UPS package delivery drivers and warehouse logistics workers nationwide.

UPS workers carry 6% of the country’s GDP, and if they strike, it would be the largest strike in the US in 50+ years – a massive boost to the resurgent American labor movement. UPS is making record profits ($12 billion+) after the pandemic and can afford to meet union demands, which include:

  • eliminating excessive overtime
  • eliminating the two-tier driver classifications whereby 2nd tier drivers do the same work as other drivers, but for lower pay and with fewer protections
  • for many warehouse workers, getting higher pay and turning part-time jobs into full-time jobs
  • addressing harassment on the job and other issues
